Cities of Gears: Vengeance Tournament

Over the recent months, the demand for competitive Gears of War has grown immensely. With success of Hypefestation and KOTC events in New Jersey, gamers are looking for more events to participate in. Gears Community Online Network (Gearscon) is here to announce our own brand of tournaments for the Gears of War Community: Cities of Gears (C.O.G.) Tournaments

Last weekend we opened our new brand with C.O.G Nationals, which was a nationally run tournament at six different LAN Centers across the country. Each location averaged about eight teams per state,  supporting not only local events but also businesses.

On May 19th & 20th the Gearscon and Gears of War Nation staff will be hosting the largest Gears of War 3 LAN Tournament to date COG: Vengeance! We are selling forty-eight (48) 4 vs 4 team passes and sixty-four (64) 2 vs 2 team passes. This tournament is a Hypefestation  sanctioned event, meaning whoever wins this tournament will receive an invite to Hypefestation 3.

Format:
May 19th and 20th – 4v4
May 20th – 2v2

Pass Prices:
$200 for 4v4 team
$40 for 2v2 team
$15 for 4v4 team coach
$10 per day for spectator at the door

Pay Out:

4 vs. 4

1st:$3000
2nd: $1500
3rd: $1000
4th: $500

 2 vs. 2

$50% payout <16 teams
$400 16+ teams
$750 32+ teams
$1100 48+ teams
$1500 64 teams
