Gears Community Online Network (GCON) is a fan-built organization that provides high quality events and media unofficially for the Gears of War community, primarily on our official website, Epic Games forums and on both our Twitter and Facebook brand pages. Over the past few years we have worked hard to build the GCON brand, which has now become synonymous as a sign of quality and excitement across the Gears of War community. Our accomplishments boast incredible support from both Epic and Microsoft.

Our features include:

• Web Shows: Provide a live and recorded view of the Gears of War game. This type of content allows for fans to learn, interact, watch, and enjoy a raw uncut viewing of the Gears of War game. Fans can learn from the professionals, watch exhibition matches from diehard fans and see tips and tricks on other parts of the game.
• Ticker Tips: On the landing page Ticker Tips provide bite size informative hint to help Gears of War fans
• Live Stream: Live Stream provides the fans a place to watch their favorite professional or semi-professional teams and players battle each other for the title “Best Gears of War Team”
• Articles/Videos: Article and Video provided a scripted and edited view at the Gears of War game. Fans can expect to find tips and tricks, product reviews, interviews and press information from Epic Studios.
• Events:  GCON hosts events often during the month, these events range from community nights, exhibition matches, tournaments, charity events and gaming with the development team at Epic Studios.
• SerasList:  A message board for players seeking companionship or assistance in this team based game.

Mission and Vision

The goal of GCON is provide a space where fans can learn new skills and techniques to enhance their Gears of War experience. What we mean by this is that we generate content that focuses on increasing the skills of our audience.  Our content focuses on providing tips and tricks that will make the Gears of War fans better in every aspect of the game. Gearscon content provides tips and tricks on all angles of the game; we provide help on horde mode, beast mode, multiplayer match making, competitive playing and on the campaign.
