What is GCON?

• Gears Community Online Network or GCON, is a Gears of War Community site. Bringing you a constant flow of Gears of War content from every area of the Gears Universe and is the home for Gears Social. GCON produces videos, articles, live streams, events, tips, reviews and various other media to help you follow the GoW action!

How do I contribute to GCON?

• Writers: To become a writer please submit your information on the contact form under “Writing” with an attached sample of something you have written that is gaming related.
• Event Hosts: To become a GCON host please send us an e-mail in the contact form under “Host Applicant”. You will then be contacted by staff and put through an interview process. We look for hosts that are friendly, charismatic and have general knowledge of the game. Please do not apply to this position if you do not have a good internet connection.
• Video Content:  To provide video content please submit an e-mail to the contact form under “Video”, including your contact information, video editing experience and relevant youtube links.

How do I become a GCON broadcaster?

• All of the main featured GCON broadcasters are not open through application and are selected based on a series of strict criteria.

What events does GCON cover?

• GCON Staff and Contributors regularly attend major gaming related expos and events such as: E3, PAX Prime, Comic-Con, MLG and many more! For these types of large events, we often write and or produce video content covering the all the action. If you spot us at an event make sure to say hello!

What games does GCON cover?

• We are primarily a Gears of War franchise based site, thus the focus is Gears.

How can I play with GCON?

• GCON will often host community events!  Be on the look out as they are often announced over our social sites, in the EPIC Games forum or on the front page of our website.
